Apple’s space race drama For All Mankind gets its first spin-off in Star City.
Created by Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert and Ronald D. Moore, the alternative history thriller follows the Soviet Union’s cosmonauts after they become the first nation to put a man on the moon.
Rhys Ifans and Anna Maxwell Martin lead the show’s cast, alongside Agnes O’Casey, Alice Englert, Solly McLeod, Adam Nagaitis and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis. Josef Davies plays Sergei Nikulov, who was portrayed by Piotr Adamczyk in For All Mankind.
The first two episodes of Star City were released on Apple TV on May 29, 2026, with the remaining six episodes set to air weekly.

The show’s score is by Federico Jusid, whose previous credits include A Thousand Blows, A Gentleman In Moscow and The Secret In Their Eyes.
