Sampha has announced a collaboration with Little Simz called ‘Satellite Business 2.0’.

The new song seems to be a continuation to the original ‘Satellite Business’, which appeared on Sampha’s latest record ‘Lahai’.

Now, the soul singer has teamed up with rapper Little Simz for a song together, which is set for release on July 16.

The duo have not previously released any collaborations, though Little Simz appeared as a guest performer during Sampha’s huge set at Ally Pally in April this year.

Sampha recently appeared on the stacked guest feature lineup for Headie One’s new album, where Skrillex, AJ TraceyStormzyAitch and more also made an appearance.

Speaking to NME about ‘The Last Ones’, Headie One shared: “It’s the last one but it’s not the last one you know? This album is about the place we come from, the negative things that happened and that are still in effect today so I’m giving a lot of home truths in this one.”

He continued: “When I was making this album, I realised I was at the point I wanted to be when I dreamed about making music to actually doing it. Back then, I was in a different mindframe and needed to experience life before things were going good with the music. [‘The Last One’] is about the journey, seeing time as a full circle when people want to see it as linear.”

Meanwhile, Little Simz premiered a brand new song called ‘The Code’ during her performance at Glastonbury, which NME rated four stars: “Since she emerged a decade-and-a-half ago, Simz has established herself as one of the country’s greatest contemporary artists – and, fortunately, she seems to know it: “Glastonbury,” she announces, “I need you to understand that you are witnessing greatness. And I don’t say that with arrogance; I say that with confidence.”

“The point is not just that Simz is great, but that we all are. It’s a unifying sentiment and there’s a definite sense that the crowd is rooting for the rapper, who exudes warmth and is totally unabashed about how thrilled she is to have achieved this feat: “I’m having the best time of my life up here!”
