The new record from the former NME Cover stars comes on the heels of a huge 2025, which saw them play over 100 live shows, join Tame Impala on tour, and take to festival stages at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and more.
Titled ‘Ö’, the debut album is set for release on March 27 via Ninja Tune, and will feature breakout singles ‘Play Me’ and ‘I Like It Like That’. Visit here to pre-order.
As well as announcing the new album, FCUKERS have also dropped another preview of the record in the form of new single ‘L.U.C.K.Y’ – a pulsing track that sees the New York duo put a swirling, atmospheric spin on electronica.
“L-U-C-K-Y, I’m lucky/ Y-O-U- are mine, ‘cause I’m lucky,” frontwoman Shanny Wise softly sings in the chorus, backed by the captivating, high-energy instrumentals from bandmate Jackson Walker Lewis.
“You won’t make me cry/ Make me sigh/ Make me wanna die,” she sings as the song builds in momentum towards the end, “You wanna be my man/ hold my hand/ Take me for a ride.”
Check out the track and the new music video directed by Wise below.
FCUKERS first burst onto the scene in 2023 with their debut single ‘Mothers’, and took things up a notch with their 2024 EP ‘Baggy$$’ – which contained hit singles like ‘Bon Bon’ and ‘Homie Don’t Shake’.
As well as winning a legion of fans, they have since gone on to open for LCD Soundsystem as part of a New York residency, support HAIM at Madison Square Garden, join Justice at Red Rocks, and act as support for both Disclosure and Confidence Man on their respective tours.
After releasing the new record – which was recorded in two weeks and produced by Kenneth Blume (FKA Kenny Beats) – the duo will be heading back on the road this spring.
Today (Tuesday January 13) they have announced a new run of North American tour dates. These kick off on April 2, where they’ll perform at The Observatory in San Diego, and are followed by stops in Santa Ana, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago and more later in the month.

Last year, NME listed the single ‘Homie Don’t Shake’ at Number 40 on the list of the 50 Best Songs of the Year.
“The Beck-sampling, Cobrasnake-referencing single ‘Homie Don’t Shake’ is their nonchalant, nonsensical calling card,” the entry read. “The Fcukers party has officially started – make sure you’re fashionably late.”
Back in 2024, the band spoke to NME as part of The Cover, and revealed how they came together to form FCUKERS after “growing out of” indie music and briefly becoming “jaded” by the music industry.
“I was over indie shit – I wanted to make beats or dubstep,” Wise said, while Lewis explained that he found inspiration again when he “started throwing parties” after they each left their previous bands.
“I realised you can play at any time, anywhere – there’s no rules,” he added, going on to explain how they got their new band name. “We said ‘It’s for us. Who cares about commercial viability?’”
Looking at how they immediately started winning over fans with as little as four songs under their belt, Lewis shared it was all about harnessing connection with listeners. “That’s all you can ever hope for as an artist,” he said, while Wise quipped: “I wouldn’t care if anyone ever hears it, I just love doing it.”
